When a well-known local restaurant establishment decides to name a sushi roll after you, it’s probably a bit of an indication you’re a bit… well, extra-ordinary shall we say! (Check out Wasabi Sabi on Taylor Ave. and ask them about the “Dr.B. Roll”)
It’s safe to say that Dr. B. is a rather passionate individual. Not only a true Mensan (only the top 2% of mere mortals can lay such claim), Dr. B. is equally passionate about people, his profession and philanthropy – giving back. One of the three principle tenets of the American Association of Orthodontists and Canadian Association of Orthodontists is “to make significant contributions to the health of the public”. Dr. B.’s passion runs deep here. So much so, that annually, The McFarlane Mission recruits a team of talented and like-minded physicians, nurses and volunteers for service to less privileged parts of the world, in an effort to administer much needed dental care to those in need. The rewards are equally extraordinary – a lift in appreciation and respect for life, as well as a renewed commitment to craft, that is second to none!

Dr. B.’s ongoing commitment to craft, through keeping abreast of the latest technology and solution applications is relentless. As a Diplomate member of the American Board of Orthodontics, Dr. B. is one of only 16% of Orthodontists North America wide, who regularly submit case study profiles and documentation for board assessment and measurement, ensuring state of the smile relevance and performance excellence.
Who knows? If you hang with Dr. B., one day you might just have a sushi roll named after you!
